DUN NASTAS

The entrance to this rustic farmhouse can be found at the end of a short private alley. Upon entry there is a hall leading to the kitchen/living/dining room. From here you go out into the pool area with barbecue and outdoor shower.

Off the kitchen, a small hall takes you to a twin bedroom with main bathroom opposite. A washing machine is available for use in the bathroom. The large main double bedroom with shower ensuite follows up the hall.  Hairdryer and iron/ironing board available, as well as free wifi.

Walking up a traditional garigor (spiral staircase) you will come across a secret little room. This serves as a children's playroom, a quiet reading room or simply a chill out area. Just a few more steps and you come out to gorgeous views on the large roof terrace. Here you can enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun go down.

THE CLIFFS

Ta ' ÄŠenÄ‹ Cliffs are a 20 minute walk from your farmhouse. They are located on the southern coast of Gozo and consist of very steep 120 metre cliffs that are surrounded by garrigue. These cliffs are the breeding ground for Cory's shearwaters and Velkouan shearwaters.

There are also archaeological remains close by, namely BorÄ¡ l-Imramma (the remains of an MÄ¡arr phase megalithic temple), two dolmens dating back to the Tarxien Cemetery phase and a number of cart ruts.

THE GOOD LIFE

Experience the Mediterranean diet. Gozitan cheeselets, peppered cheeselets, olives, capers, tomatoes, olive oil, basil and mint, together with galletti (water biscuits) and our delicious Gozitan fresh bread, washed down with Gozitan wine or a liquor made from prickly pears (Bajtar tax-xewk). Prickly pears grow just over the farmhouse wall. All available in the grocery store up the road.

Add pastizzi (cheesecakes) to all this and you have the perfect meal.

Lounge by the pool while soaking up the warm Gozitan sun. Barbecue fillets of local beef bought at the butcher around the corner, or fresh fish caught that day and purchased from any supermarket.
